A Girl's Best Friend
Happy Saturday everyone! I want to let you all know that we are on the final stretch of my campaign for my "OBLIVION 20/20" album with a little over a week left! We are currently at $6,889 which is about 55% of my end goal, $12,500. You guys have really come through and have shown me that nothing is impossible as long as I put my mind to it and carry my faith with me along the way! I can't thank you all enough for the endless amount of love and support! You all hold a very special place in my heart and always will. I am incredibly thankful for each and every one of you and beyond thankful to have you all by my side throughout this crazy life!
Today has been quite the day for Kenzie here, but it's been a very good one, to say the least! I had a phone interview with Lincoln Journal Star earlier today, giving me the opportunity to share my Kickstarter project for this album and my story as well (stay tuned for the article coming out very soon!), and then my family and I drove all the way to KC to pick up my new best friend (and you can bet your bottom dollar it was definitely love at first sight)!!
I can't wait to keep walking this journey of mine with all of you and now miss Keilani Imani too!! For those of you wondering, Lani is a purebred German Shepherd and her name Keilani is Hawaiian for, "blessing from the sky," and her middle name "Imani" means, "faith" in Swahili. Right now, I'm giving her some time to rest as she has had a long day meeting lots of new faces as well, but I do have some big plans for this sweet girl of mine - going through some puppy obedience training and then potentially emotional support/therapy/service dog training in the future! But for now, I'm taking in all of the puppy love I can get. :)
Anyways, I hope you all have a great rest of your night and weekend! I will be in touch with you all tomorrow!! Love you all bunches!
